Sharing an in-depth Ritual multivitamins review today! I mentioned Ritual as part of my morning routine in my recent podcast episode, and I wanted to get into all the details about Ritual and why I’m such a fan.

You’ve likely seen it all over the ‘gram, but what’s the hype really about? I’ve been taking Ritual multivitamins daily for several months now, so I’m ready to dive into my Ritual multivitamins review!

Traceability and transparency.

First and foremost, I appreciate that Ritual is intentionally open and transparent about its sources, studies, and suppliers. Their multivitamin is the first of its kind to be made with a visible supply chain. You can learn about their sourcing and transparency efforts here

Their ingredients are on point.

Ritual multivitamins for women are formulated with key ingredients to help fill gaps in nutrients in women’s diets. They’re vegan-friendly (they use algal oil instead of fish oil for omega 3s), non-GMO, gluten and major-allergen-free. They are formulated without shady additives or artificial colorants, which as I was doing research on what I wanted my multivitamin to be I realized is rare! We don’t necessarily think about it and it’s easy to assume that if it’s on a shelf at a store it’s ok to ingest, but when you actually look at what is in these supplements, it’s not always pretty. And it’s so important to know for your health because you’re putting this into your body. Ritual offers me that peace of mind since they are so transparent about their ingredients.*

Foundational health.

Ritual’s multivitamins are designed with supporting foundational health in mind. From Omega3’s and vitamin B12 to support brain health to calcium-helper nutrients Vitamin D, Magnesium and Boron to help maintain bone health.*

Ritual is female-founded.

When she became pregnant, CEO and founder Katerina Schneider was purging household products and swapping them for products with better ingredients. But during her quest for a prenatal multivitamin, all the ones she came across she couldn’t get behind. Since she couldn’t find a brand that she trusted, she decided to build her own.

They’re sustainable.

Each Ritual bottle is made with 100% recycled materials, and their mailers are made from recycled newsprint and plant fibers. They also work to offset carbon emissions from each Ritual shipment.

They have multivitamins for different life stages.

I personally take Ritual’s Essential for Women 18+ multivitamin. You can check out all of the Ritual Essential multivitamins here, but they cover essential prenatal multivitamins to postnatal, different age groups for men and women, and teens and kids

Ritual vitamins review

They’re great for sensitive stomachs.

Ritual’s capsules have a delayed-release design. I can take them on an empty stomach, no problem. Personally, I like to take them on an empty stomach, because I’ve found that this way I don’t get any “vitamin burps.” Since Ritual’s capsule is delayed-release and designed to dissolve later, in the small intestine, that also means it helps to lessen vitamin burping, since the omega-3 algal oil is released later on. During my first month taking Ritual, I was getting some vitamin burps, but then I read this post by Ritual all about how to help them and it was super helpful. If you’ve ever taken fish oil capsules for omega-3, you know how gross these burps can be, so I appreciate Ritual’s intentional design with this!

Their subscription makes it easy.

I love it when a subscription makes my life easier. Ritual automatically sends me a new bottle of vitamins every month, so I don’t even need to think about running out or ordering more.

That’s a wrap on my Ritual multivitamins review! I hope it was helpful for you if you’re considering trying them. As you can see, I clearly love them and am so happy they’re a part of my daily morning routine.
