Pearl, San Francisco

I love checking out new restaurants in the city, and I recently got to attend a media preview event for the newly opened Pearl, San Francisco restaurant in the Richmond. This cute spot was opened by the folks who brought you Pizetta. The co-chefs are two women who are BFFs and did feminist dinner pop-ups at Pizetta together. The space is gorgeous, with incredible lighting (perfect for getting that ‘gram shot), and warm, inviting leather booths. By day, Pearl, San Francisco will be a cafe serving up coffee and pastries, and by night their restaurant will have their full dinner menu. And of course on weekends there’s brunch, because this is San Francisco, people. The dinner menu will be focused on seafood and homemade pastas, and their wood-fired oven will be baking ricotta, roasting cauliflower, and blistering shishito peppers. Oh, and did I mention they have an incredible cocktail menu?

I got to sample their brunch menu, and everything was so tasty and full of flavor. A few of my favorite dishes were their smoked trout tartine, and their eggs in purgatory. Pearl, San Francisco just recently opened their doors, so be sure to check out this new gem in the Richmond!
