October is always a fun month for me for lots of reasons, including my birthday, Halloween, and pumpkin spice lattes (call me a #basicbitch, but they just get me in the mood for fall and Thanksgiving!). This month we also went on a trip to Sedona, which was amazing. I’ll have a dedicated post for that trip up soon, but for now, captions read clockwise, starting with the upper left photo. You can also follow along on Instagram.
Enjoying SF’s Indian summer and beautiful weather at the beginning of the month.
Brunch at Luna Park.
Omied and I went for a relaxing picnic up at Bernal Heights. Shortly after I took this photo, a dog proceeded to pee on our picnic blanket. Not pleased.
Bubbles on the sidewalk.
Cool chalk art.
Tackling the workday with polka dots and a latte.
Packing some in-flight essentials for our Sedona trip.
Off to Sedona! You can shop this travel look here.
We were starving when we landed in Phoenix, so I yelped some nearby restaurants and found Little Miss BBQ. Holy crap, best BBQ I’ve ever had in my life. It’s close to the airport so next time you’re flying into Phoenix, you have to stop by!
We made it into Sedona just in time to catch this sunset up at the airport knoll. #nofilter, I swear.
Soaking up some sun before a long, steep hike. In love with this new little romper. Shop this pool-side look here.
It was quite the steep scramble, but we made it up Cathedral Rock!
Meditating and feeling tiny at Cathedral Rock.
A little R&R before another hike. Shop the look.
Yummy appetizers at Enchantment.
The view at Enchantment is just magical!
Hiking Bell Rock.
Brunch on our last day by an adorable little creek.
Hiked up to Devil’s Bridge! Scary drop down…
Cruising around Sedona in our convertible Mini.
So many cacti!
Loved driving around this beautiful place…
Beautiful sky on our flight back home.
RIP Oscar de la Renta.
Love a good cheese plate.
Sunday morning reading #Girlboss.
Being showered in birthday love!
We went to Flour + Water for my birthday dinner. I’ve been wanting to try that place since we moved to the city three years ago. The pizza was to die for.
Went home to visit the fam and the birthday celebrations continued with red velvet cake (for lunch).
I also said yes to the dress while I was home! I feel like such a princess in it.
New Android release and a cute new statue at work.
Found the perfect work spot at the Googleplex: A hammock underneath a shady tree.
Love this GIANT pumpkin at work and of course, the Google pumpkin.
Omied made candy corn jello shots because he’s amazing. You can find the recipe on A Beautiful Mess.
Cutie Halloween cookies.
This year’s “Googleween” was pretty epic. Alice In Wonderland themed, it included amazing decor, games, food, and little sweet treats.
Happy Halloween from Princess Jasmine and her street rat, Aladdin!
