The second to last month of the year involved a lot of family, food and fun. Oh, and for October’s Instagram post, someone (who I don’t know personally) left me a comment saying that my monthly recap Instagram posts are their favorite, which I thought was very sweet, so I’m putting a little more effort into the collages, rather than just the same ol’ four square biz.
Started off the month right with voting and an election had me sweatin, but left me extremely thankful.
Dia de los muertos in the Mission.
Omied looking epic and ready for a mustaches & monocles party.
Me and the sissy, home for Thanksgiving. (Thanksgiving foodporn pics here)
Sailing on the bay. So gorgeous. Learned what a “jib” is.
I was feeling girly and bought a couple new RCM colors and lippy colors. Yay!
Sweet treats. S’mores at the ‘rents house, rose meringue from Miette (there was a debate in the office over whether or not the rose-flavored meringue actually tasted like soap), and no-bake chocolate cookies (recipe posted soon!).
New purse from my Aunt. I love it!
My mom’s cute new sandals. Too bad she’s a size 5, or I’d borrow them.
Had a great time being Melange’s special guest at BAYfashion mag’s release party. (More pics from the night here)
New mani 🙂
Ridiculous drinks at Trader Vic’s
I don’t usually cook with tofu, but I tried this vegetarian curry from my new Cooking Light slow cooker cook book and loved it.
Etre sent me some winter gloves, that work with touch screens! (You can see them in this outfit post)
New sweaters from a BCBG sample sale.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Met a friend for lunch at Outerlands and it was freakin delish. Their open-faced brunch sandwiches are awesome.
New Chemex coffee pot in the office. Bringing hipster coffee to a whole new level. It’s yummy though!
I love it when my boyfriend wakes me up by saying, “We’re having french toast this morning!!”
Our latest office decor project–Painting our new owl friends. They’re so cute!
