Before I jump into talking about this outfit, I just have to say how totally blown away I was by all of the responses to my post last week about the unfortunate incidents at a recent Oak Ridge basketball game. After I shared that post, I spent over four hours that night reading and responding to people’s comments (here’s one of the many conversations on Facebook), private messages and emails. Some of them warmed my heart, and some of them broke it. But every single one was in support and solidarity. So thank you all, for your thoughtful commentary on this important issue.
Now, on to the outfit. I’m loving this cozy VINCE sweater and I’ve been looking for some comfy pointed-toe flats to wear with skinny jeans. Both are from ThredUp, which means they were a total steal. This is a casual look I wore over the weekend as we were running last minute errands in the city before I left for Brazil today (currently on the plane now!). I’ll be in Sao Paulo running our International Women’s Day event at the Google office there, and then meeting Omied in Rio for a little vacay! Tchau!
