Nashville murals are kinda famous. You’ve probably seen a ton of gorgeous Nashville murals all over your insta and may not have realized they’re coming from Music City.
From the music scene to the art scene to the nightlife, Nashville is such a dreamy place to travel to. After my recent trip (and lots of Nashville mural spotting), I that I thought it’d be fun to share where to find them and the popular spots.
People from all over travel to Nashville just to check out the murals all over the city.
All of the murals have a unique style to them—meaning there’s really something for everyone.
Murals have become Nashville Tennessee’s street art because of how creative and colorful they make the city look.
And of course, a lot of these murals make a great Instagram spot to have a photoshoot.

21 Nashville Murals You Don’t Want to Miss
1. Flowers
Ok, so this one is definitely one of my favs because of all the pastel colors and the arrangements of flowers. This one is located at 2900 12th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37204.
The artist is sadly unknown. I wish I knew who it was so I could see more of their work!
I’m in love with the boho vibes it gives off, I can just imagine wearing a big hat and boots.
2. Slay all the Dragons
The Dragon mural is located at 1224 Meridian Street, Nashville, TN 37207, and was created by Kim Radford.
I really like how this piece incorporates a dragon mixed with neutral colors and playful fonts. These small details give a softer aesthetic.
I feel like I would def see this mural on Pinterest or something similar with the quote—it’s super empowering.
3. East Nashville
This mural is more on the basic and minimalist side. I could see it making for a cool Insta shot, whether you’re wearing a black and white minimalist outfit, or something super colorful that pops. I think the artist was super clever in incorporating both “East” and “Nashville” together.

4. Hillsboro Village Dragon
The Hillsboro Village Dragon mural has a really cool video game style with huge and colorful dragons spread across the entire wall.
It’s definitely not my favorite style (it’s very masculine), but there’s no denying how epic this painting is. This would make a really great place to take kids or video game lovers.
This mural is located at 2102 Belcourt Avenue, Nashville, TN 37212, and was created by Andee Rudloff.
5. Galatic Gardens
Think galaxy print mixed with exotic flowers—I’m getting fantasy vibes. I’m obsessed with the deep purples and pops of yellow and pink.
Made by East Side Murals located at 800 Fort Negley Blvd, Nashville, TN 37203.
This piece has a very mysterious and dark vibe to it making the perfect photo op if you’re in town around Halloween.
6. Hold Fast
The Hold Fast mural is another must-see with its pops of color and grunge aesthetic with the tattooed knuckles.
This one was made by Off the Wall and Tarabella Aversa. You can find it at 128 31st Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37209.
It definitely has that skater style to it that really embodies the collaboration with Off the Wall.
7. I Believe in Nashville
There are actually a few variations and different locations of the I Believe in Nashville design—it’s definitely a classic, and you’ve probably seen this one on your Insta feed.
They were all designed and created by Adrien Saporiti.
The first one is located at 2702 12th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37204. This is definitely a must when taking pics in Nashville.
The second one is located at 1402 Clinton Street, Nashville, TN 37203. This one looks pretty identical to the one on 12 South, but what makes this one different is the wider canvas.
The last one is located on 501 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203 and looks the most different compared to the two. Dedicated to the Predators hockey team in Nashville making it a super fun mural.
8. It’s Gonna Be O.K.
Another one of my favorites murals! I can’t get over all the bright colors, the cute flower designs, and font style. So, so cute.

This mural makes the cutest background to your next Instagram post with the super minimal and more feminine design.
9. Hillsboro Village
I love how charming the Hillsboro Village mural is with the orange, red, and blue colors. It has a very community feel to it with the outline of the neighborhood.
Located at 2013 Capers Ave, Nashville, TN 37212, and created by Andee Rudloff.
The little view of the sunset over the town is very calming to look at. I feel warm and welcomed while looking at this artwork.
10. Holiday Inn Vanderbilt
The Holiday Inn Vanderbilt is another one of my favs! The neon sign style is everything and so creative.
The second part of the mural is also very cool with the lit-up lights and performers—feels like you’re at a live concert.
I feel like this mural really encompasses the music city Nashville is with the acoustic guitars and bright signs.
This mural is located at 2613 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203, and was made by Eric ‘Mobe’ Bass and Ashley Segroves. You can even stay at Holiday Inn Nashville—Vanderbilt to see the mural every day.
11. Instagram Like
So this one is pretty straight forward and there’s really nothing more about it. You can take a super cute pic next to it to make yourself look like a live photo on the feed.

I like how simple yet playful this design is.
12. Kind Comments
Coming back with another mural made by Adrien Saporiti.
The Kind Comments mural is actually a special one because Instagram chose Nashville to be one of the five cities to be a part of the #KindComments campaign for Pride Month.
You’ll find this mural located at 209 3rd Ave N, Nashville, TN 37201.
13. Make Music Not War
Nothing more Nashville than music. I really love the messaging for this mural because there’s really nothing that brings people more together than music.
Music is a way I really connect with people new or old in my life.

14. What Lifts You Wings
The infamous What Lifts You Wings mural is another popular spot because of the super cute abstract geometric-styled wings. You can expect a line here for photo opps—when I passed by there were about 10 people waiting in line to shoot with it!

15. Silo
The Silo mural is a very special one because it commemorates the people who have lived here for a long time. Artist Guido Van Helten created this piece on the abandoned concrete silo.
Guido is known for painting locals to give more of an emotional effect. You can see the mural in person at 1407 51st Avenue N, Nashville, TN 37209.
It’s hard to not feel the sentimental attachments to the 91-year-old man painted in the mural.
16. The Nashville Walls Project
The Nashville Walls Projects is another mural that I love! I’m here for all the colors with the blues and the pinks—my favorite colors.
The eclectic prints and designs with color really make this mural unique. The patterns make a great photo op for the gram.

17. September 11
A memorial mural dedicated to remembering those who we lost on this day—specifically for the first responders.
It is very beautifully done and is located above Pierre’s Customs located at 571 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37210, and made by Michael Cooper.
18. Capital City Computers
Capital City Computers is another popular mural spot because you’ll find more than one on the building. You may know this building for their infamous Steve Jobs and Bill Gates mural.
This newer mural popped out on the Capital City Computers building.
It has a very tropical and vibrant vibe to it—I think it looks really cool almost like an album cover to an electronic indie band.
You’ll find this wall at 1106 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206, by new artist Sterbo.
19. Google Fiber Mural
Check out the Google Fiber Mural located at 1012 Woodland Street, Nashville, TN 37206, created by Nathan Brown.
Enjoy the colorful and abstract design across the side of the building. This is another great photo op because of the unique design.
Nashville looks more vibrant with these Google Fiber murals across the city.
20. Draper James
The blue and white stripes are too adorable making a great background for your insta pics once again.
This mural is located on the side of the store at 2608 12th Avenue South Nashville, TN 37204.
I can already imagine myself taking pics with this wall and a flowy spring/summer dress with pastel colors.
21. Nashville Looks Good On You
The Nashville Looks Good On You mural is quirky and playful with words. It has a Cards Against Humanity vibe to it with the font choice and black and white theme, and I love the TN for Tennessee instead of Trademark.
