This new “You’re something magical” mural popped up in the Mission recently and it makes me smile every time I see it. I slipped on my new nude lace Tieks to go grab dinner with Omied, and really how could we not shoot with this mural when the turquoise matches the Tieks blue so perfectly? It was meant to be. 😉
I rarely wear crop tops, but my sister got me this cute one from a Santa Cruz boutique and I’ve been looking for a fun skirt to pair it with. This full midi skirt from Shabby Apple perfectly balanced out the crop and its high waist made it so that just a sliver of skin was showing.

oh my gosh thank you, I was just randomly playing with some braids in my hair and I've never worn my hair like that. I always feel a little weird when I try a new hair style but I'm glad you like it! I just did two side braids and pinned them up with bobby pins.
I know what you mean about not looking too dressy in a full midi skirt. I think pairing the skirt with flats like I did in this post (rather than heels) helps casual things up a bit. Another thing I like to do is add a leather jacket. It balances out the girly-ness of the midi skirt and also helps make the look a little more casual.

Thank you!! Tieks are amazing, they are seriously the comfiest flats ever and they have such fun styles. They fold up so you can store them in your purse to whip out when you're sick of wearing heels!

Great hair and love your midi skirt! I have one myself that is also black/white striped. However, I'm having a hard time wearing it when it's not a formal occasion. Any ideas?
