When I saw these burgundy velvet pants at UNIQLO (for just 20 bucks!), I knew I needed to make them mine! I was shopping with my mom and sister and they both kind of laughed at me and were confused as to whether I was buying the as pajama pants or to wear in public, in front of people. I thought they were too chic to be kept to the confines of my apartment and couch, but wasn’t sure how they’d make their debut into the world. I threw them into my suitcase when I was packing for our quick trip to Reno to shoot a travel story there (Reno weekend travel guide here), and ended up loving how they looked paired with my crochet red swimsuit. Very I Dream of Genie, no?
