Holiday Cheer

Back at that daily grind—happy Monday! In partnership with Zappos (which is so more than just an online store for shoes) today, I styled my new Paige jeans and Freebird boots with a touch of holiday cheer. Big, cozy plaid scarves are adorning most folks’ necks around this time of year. Instead of wrapping mine around my neck, I draped my scarf over my shoulders and belted it with a thick belt around my waist to accentuate my silhouette. I’m kind of obsessed with how the look turned out and will definitely be replicating it with different variations of scarves and belts this winter.

The last time I styled these jeans and boots from Zappos it was a bit warmer in the city, but this weekend I was happy to have my warm coat and over-the-knee boots on. And you may have noticed on Instagram (here, here, and here) that these jeans have become my new favorite pair and I can’t stop wearing them. Usually I roll my eyes when a brand says they “only partner with the best such-and-such houses in the country,” but in Paige Denim’s case it actually does make a difference. By partnering with the best wash-houses, I actually see the difference in how their jeans hug my curves and have the perfect amount of give. And of course, I can’t not mention these beautiful leather boots. Freebird’s original designs, inspired by vintage Americana, were the perfect unique touch to finish off my look.
