Date Night in San Francisco

Share this post or pin it for later!

This month I had a fun article featured in Glam’s Style App where I shared my favorite restaurants in San Francisco for a date night! Since love is in the air, I thought I’d share these gems with you on WTFab as well…
San Francisco is a foodie’s dream. You can’t throw a rock in this city without hitting a line of people waiting to get in to try a new restaurant, which makes SF full of unlimited date night options. Here are six of my favorites for Valentine’s Day (although good luck trying to get a reservation this late in the game!) or any day.
1. Park Tavern, 1652 Stockton Street, San Francisco, CA
I’m always amused when restaurants categorize themselves as New American (I’m not sure what Old American food would be), but Park Tavern has a fun take on the trend. Delicious and unique pairings (don’t miss the deviled eggs!) with a beautiful ambience make this place one of our favorite date night spots.
2. Isa, 3324 Steiner Street, San Francisco, California
We went to Isa for Valentine’s Day a couple years ago, and loved the experience and their French food. Be sure to request a seat in their outdoor (heated) patio—so romantic!
3. Lolinda, 2518 Mission St., San Francisco, CA
Lolinda has delicious tapas and the interior design and wood paneling is to die for. There’s also an awesome rooftop bar upstairs (El Techo de Lolinda) that has amazing views of the city.
4. Foreign Cinema, 2534 Mission St, San Francisco, CA
Be sure to dine outside on the patio (are you sensing a theme here? San Franciscans love dining al fresco!), where true to their name, the restaurant plays foreign films on a large wall. Oh, and the food is fantastic.
5. SPQR, 1911 Fillmore St, San Francisco, CA
SPQR has THE best Italian food in the city (in my opinion). This Michelin star restaurant is one of our go-to celebration spots, and their unique combination of flavors always surprises us in the most wonderful ways.
6. Locanda, 557 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA
We like to grab tasty cocktails at Locanda’s bar and we love the contemporary meets rustic vibe. They also have yummy small bites and Italian dishes.
Where are your favorite spots for a date night in San Francisco?
