Okayyyy let’s talk about this one-shouldered Cynthia Rowley jumpsuit!! I want to wear it everywhere, all the time. It’s soo comfortable and flattering, and the ruffles are the perfect feminine touch. I wore this outfit to a wine tasting event last week, and contrasted the girly ruffles with this more boxy, structured BCBG jacket (aren’t the embroidered details fun?)
The wine tasting was at Cameron Hughes
, which is a wine wholesaler and importer. I had heard of the concept of wholesale wine before, but didn’t really understand exactly what that meant, and after going to this event and learning all about it I feel like I am in on a very well kept secret. Don’t worry, I’m going to share it with you too! 😉 At the tasting we learned from the owner and the brand’s namesake that Cameron Hughes doesn’t actually produce wine themselves. Instead, they partner with amazing, critically acclaimed wineries and vineyards to bottle and sell wine and blends under the CH brand. Cam handpicks the wine, and I was totally blown away by how delicious every single wine that we tried was. If I wasn’t such a lightweight, I would have had uno mas of everything, por favor. Because of their business model, they’re able to sell wine that would usually be around $100 for a fraction of that price…like $16. Crazy, right?? We’ve definitely found our new house wine to have on-hand for dinner parties, or to bring as a guest. My favorites that we tried were the 2014 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
and the 2015 Moscato d’Asti
. We also paired some of these delicious wines with Christopher Elbow chocolate, since they are doing a collaboration for Valentine’s Day where you can purchase a gift set box with truffles and wine. I mean can you think of anything better? You can find Cameron Hughes wine at Costco or online
, and the V-Day set will be available on their website 1/31. Cheers!
