Love a good sequin moment for New Years! It’s that time of year where you emerge from the holiday fog and think, “Oh shit, what am I going to wear for NYE??”

I’ve got you covered with this list of cheap new years dresses that you can quickly order on Amazon Prime!

I tried on a bunch and picked my top six favorite party dresses, all of which are full of glitz and glam and are NYE-approved. The best part is while they’re very reasonably priced, they don’t look cheap.

So you can strut into that NYE cocktail party looking and feeling amazing, without breaking the bank! All of these dresses range from $25 – $40 (I know, such a steal), with the exception of one bonus splurge look at the end.

You guys loved it when I did a roundup of affordable Thanksgiving sweater dresses, all from Amazon, so I’m thinking this should become a new content series on the blog!

Cheap New Years Dresses on Amazon

1. Sequin Skirt Tank Dress – $26

I love this dress that looks like a skirt/tank combo! The gold sequin patterned “skirt” part of the dress is very stretchy and the tank top part of the dress is a little looser and flowy.

I’d recommend ordering your usual size as I’m wearing a medium and think it’s true to size!

2. Sparkly Swing Dress – $35

This sequin swing dress comes in 12 (yes, 12!) different colors and is a classic but fun new years dress. The straps are adjustable so you’ll easily get the right fit on top.

I ordered up one size because I thought it looked a bit short on the model, and I’m glad I did.

3. V-Neck Bodycon Dress – $28

This sequin dress has a very classic silhouette, and for $28 it’s really hard to beat! This one comes in 36 (!!) different colors.

I ordered up a size since it’s a bodycon dress and sometimes a really tight bodycon dress can just feel like A LOT with my hourglass figure. But given how stretchy it is, I think I could have gone with my usual size too.

Just depends on how tight you want your dress to be!

4. Long-Sleeve Sequin Bodycon Dress – $32

Ok, this dress is SO chic. It’s definitely got the most interesting structure of all the dresses in this cheap new years dresses roundup, and I love the padded shoulders and sequin design.

The back is all velvet and there’s some velvet lining around the hem, wrists, and waist for added texture. This dress looks way more expensive than it actually is.

Fair warning if you do buy this dress when I opened the package there was a ton of little black threads that fell out onto my bedroom floor. Just leftover black fluff from the dress, I guess.

So I would definitely recommend opening it over a trash can or outside to avoid getting that stuff all over your floor.

5. Sequin Cocktail Party Dress – $36

So for those of you paying attention…I accidentally ordered this dress twice! Once in champagne and once in red (it’s called burgundy on the Amazon listing but it’s definitely more of a true holiday red).

I love the color and it’s great for a new year’s eve dress and a future holiday party dress for next year.

6. 1920’s-inspired Cocktail Dress – $45

I love the sequin detailing and design on this one! It’s very Great Gatsby-inspired and such a gorgeous look for a glam new years.

I’d say it runs pretty true to size, but if you wanted a little extra wiggle room for eating and dancing you could size up one since it’s not as stretchy as the other dresses.

7. REVOLVE Sequin Pants and Velvet Bodysuit

Here’s my bonus, splurge NYE outfit! REVOLVE gifted me these pieces and I had to include them in this new year’s roundup, even though they definitely do not qualify as cheap new years dresses.

Sadly, these pieces are sold out, but I went ahead and included some similar items for the sequin pants and velvet bodysuit.

But how fun is the sequin leggings and how extra is this velvet bodysuit with the plunging neckline??
