A couple weekends ago, we got together with some friends for a BBQ at the park. While it’s currently crazy-hot for SF standards this week, the day we chose for a BBQ was pretty overcast, and a tad misty (although that could have been remedied by going to Dolores Park instead of Alamo Square, but that’s a different story full of heated arguments over wine). We made the most of it anyways, and warmed up with some Merlot from Black Box Wines.
Black Box kindly sent me a sampling of their varietals—Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscato—and I brought the Merlot along for the picnic in the park. Not only was it super convenient (4 bottles of wine in one box? Lasts up to 4 weeks after you open it and store in the fridge??), it was tasty! Love. Their wines are high quality and award-winning, with 40 Gold Medals and 27 “Best Buys” from Wine Enthusiast. Not too shabby.
I also tried the Moscato—it’s like an adult juicebox—and it was delicious. Next up, I’ll be bringing the Sauvignon Blanc to Hog Island for a day of oyster shucking and grilling. White wine + oysters = I’m a happy lady.
Tell your story incorporating Black Box Wine.
It’s time to think inside the box. Available in ten delicious varietals and two sizes (3L and Tetra), Black Box Wine will have you ready to lose the bottle! Black Box Wines is perfect for all your summer gatherings!
