Back in black

Monday, we meet again. Yesterday I went wedding dress shopping for the first time with my mom, sister, and future mother-in-law. We had an absolute blast, as evidenced by this photo of my hilarious sister. I tried on a dozen dresses, and while we narrowed it down to two (gorgeous) top contenders, I didn’t pull the trigger on one yet. With just over a year until the big day, I want to look around a bit more before I say yes to the dress!

On the other hand, this black dress from Banana was easy to say yes to. Not only is it a perfect transitional piece to take me from the end of summer to fall, it’s also on sale. Done and done.
