Sharing a very belated travel diary on the blog today! Earlier this year, we spent a few days in Austin for our friends’ joint bachelor/bachelorette party. It was my first time in Texas and we had a great time exploring this cool little city.
[above] Shopping on South Congress and we popped into Allen’s boots, which is filled with walls and walls of gorgeous cowboy boots. [below] When we first arrived in Austin I saw lots of signs about queso dip, many of which shared the sentiment that “Queso is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” I wondered what the big deal was about a pot of melted cheese, but omg after I tried some, I wondered no more. This stuff is so flipping delicious! I started ordering it at every restaurant we went to and I like to think that in a short amount of time I became a queso connoisseur.
