Mott & Bow Review

About Mott & Bow

Mott & Bow is a New York-based company at the forefront of denim science, which focuses on using unique production methods to make premium-grade jeans at an affordable price.

We all know how expensive quality denim can get, so I’m a huge fan of Mott & Bow’s mission to make jeans that feel luxurious without the crazy price tag.

The founder of Mott & Bow, Alejandro Chahin, grew up in Honduras working at his father’s denim manufacturing facility, so he knows his stuff!

Mott & Bow jeans are still produced in a family-owned facility, so everything from the materials to the distressing and finishing touches is carefully overseen by expert denim makers who have been in the industry for decades.

I love how transparent Mott & Bow is about their manufacturing process, and there are even videos on the brand’s website that show a behind-the-scenes look at how jeans are pinned, distressed, and more.

Eco-Friendly Denim

Sustainability is a huge priority at Mott & Bow, and they offer a whole collection of men’s and women’s clothing items made with materials like recycled polyester and hemp denim.

I’m sure we’re all aware of how much waste the fashion industry produces, so I think it’s incredible Mott & Bow is taking action to combat excess production and unsustainable manufacturing.

As a shopper, it also feels great to know you’re supporting an eco-friendly cause and investing in a product with minimal environmental impact!

Let’s jump into this Mott & Bow review to discuss the brand’s most popular denim styles and clothing items.

Mott & Bow Denim Styles

High-Rise Skinny

I don’t care what Gen Zeezers say—I love my skinny jeans! And Mott & Bow does them right.

A quality pair of high-rise skinny jeans is always a classic look because they’re flattering, comfortable, and easy to dress up or down.

Mott & Bow has a wide selection of High-Rise Skinny styles to fit whatever vibe you’re going for, but I’ll focus on the Bond Jeans in this Mott & Bow jeans review.

I fell in love when I slipped on the Black High Rise Skinny Bond Jeans, and I’m never looking back.

Skinny jeans tend to be tight and restricting, but these Mott & Bow Bond Jeans have some stretch to hug your figure, so they don’t make you feel like you can’t comfortably sit down (we all know the struggle).

Black is one of my go-to colors for jeans because it gives a slightly sophisticated edge—wear these Bond Jeans with a cropped tee or flowy blouse and fun strappy heels, and you’re ready to hit the town.

Mid-Rise Skinny

I tend to stick with high-rise jeans since they’re what I know and love, but Mott & Bow’s gorgeous Mid-Rise Skinny styles make me think it’s time to switch things up.

If you want to try a mid-rise silhouette, you can’t go wrong with Mott & Bow’s extensive collection of mid-rise skinny jeans.

The Ann Jeans are a classic and come in a range of beautiful medium to dark blue shades that are easy to style for a chic everyday look.

The Medium Blue Back Hem Carmine Jeans also caught my eye because I love the raw edge detail and the super flattering shape of the bottom hem, which is longer in the back.

Even if you’re hesitant to try mid-rise jeans, I promise you’ll love any pair from Mott & Bow.

Slim Boyfriend

Another classic denim silhouette I knew I had to cover in this Mott & Bow review is the Slim Boyfriend style.

Slim boyfriend jeans are the best of both worlds because they’re comfortable and stylish, with the perfect amount of slouch to give an effortlessly cool vibe.

The Laight Jeans from Mott & Bow are the perfect choice if you like to roll up the bottom hem of your boyfriend jeans for that relaxed-yet-put-together look.

For those of you who prefer a more traditional hemline, the Charlton Jeans are the way to go, and I love the polished look of the brand’s Mercer Jeans.

Whether you want to add a pop of color with a light blue pair or keep it neutral with classic dark blue, Mott & Bow has a pair of slim jeans you’ll love.

The Mom Jean

Last up for this Mott & Bow jeans review is the infamous Mom Jean style, which has made a massive comeback in recent years.

I’m all for the mom-jean trend because as much as I love looking cute and stylish, I also enjoy being comfortable.😆

Mom jeans have a slightly slouchy silhouette that hugs the hips and tapers into a slim fit around the ankle, creating a flattering shape perfect for running errands or grabbing a casual bite with friends.

The Gray Allen Jeans have a vintage, edgy look that gives mom jeans a modern twist, but I’d opt for Mott & Bow’s Light Blue Hubert Jeans to lean into the vintage aesthetic.

Marcy Tee

Have you been searching for the perfect everyday tee that’s comfortable, flattering, and made to last? Look no further—Mott & Bow’s Marcy Tee will solve all your t-shirt struggles!

The Peruvian-made Marcy Tee features a blend of Pima cotton and Modal that feels silky smooth, and the tee comes in a range of gorgeous colors.

With a slightly fitted silhouette that flatters various body shapes, you’ll reach for this Crew Tee daily.

I opted for the Military Green/Navy/Vintage White 3-Pack, which I’m so happy with because the colors are versatile and will never go out of style.

This tee is also available in a v-neck version if you don’t love the crewneck look and a long sleeve for fall and winter.

The French Terry Sweatshirt Surf

The final product I’ll cover in this Mott & Bow review is the French Terry Sweatshirt Surf.

Crewneck sweatshirts are my go-to when I need something casual and comfortable that still looks like I put some effort into my outfit, even if I just rolled out of bed.

This French Terry Sweatshirt is made from 100% Peruvian cotton that’s lightweight, ensuring you won’t look bulky or awkwardly lumpy.

The Sweatshirt Surf comes in classic Black and Vintage White, and I honestly can’t decide which I love more.

I hope these Mott & Bow product reviews help you decide which picks to make when trying this high-quality clothing brand!
