If you’re planning a tropical bachelorette party, you’ve come to the right place!
I just hosted my sister’s beach bachelorette party in Honolulu and had so much fun planning her tropical-themed bachelorette party!
I’m rounding up every little thing, from the bachelorette party favors, invites, decor, party games, and more in this post to help you plan the perfect bachelorette, especially for a tropical beach destination.
Since I used to plan events when I worked at Google, I love a good theme. It just helps give some direction when you’re planning and cohesiveness to the overall event. And “tropical” is the perfect bachelorette party theme—there’s just so much you can do with it!
When my sister and I were thinking about potential bachelorette party destinations, Honolulu was kind of a crazy one that we threw out there. To our surprise, most of the bridal party said they’d be down—even one of the girls from the east coast!
So Honolulu it was, and I set out to plan the most epic tropical bachelorette party (or her “Beachlorette” as we called it) for my sister.
Here’s the scoop on all the fun details so you can get them for your own bach party!
Everything You Need For An Epic Tropical Bachelorette Party
Bachelorette Party Invites
I made this cute tropical bachelorette party invite on Paperless Post.
You can of course pay to send out invites via Paperless Post and track RSVPs there…or you can go the free.99 route like I did and take a screenshot of the invite and pop that into an email.
Tropical Bachelorette Party Decor and Accents
I had so much fun shopping for tropical decor for the party! I went with pink, green, and gold colors to keep things cohesive.
This Tropic Like It’s Hot banner and garland came as a set on Etsy.
The flamingo, palm leaf, and ring garland was also too cute to pass up. I’m saving both of these to reuse for the bridal shower too!
They made for the perfect backdrop to set up our cute goody bags!
I don’t know exactly what category to file these under so I guess I’m going with “accents,” but of course, we had to have some peni$ stuff at the bachelorette!
This Etsy shop had ALL the goods. From an inflatable willy to headbands, straws, earrings, shot glasses, and rings. So much good stuff!

And of course, we can’t forget about this inflatable blow-up doll with the groom’s face on it. When I saw this on Etsy I couldn’t stop laughing. SO fun and hilarious for a bachelorette party! He was a hit.
This Etsy shop also provided this amazing photo backdrop! So fun for taking pictures in front of. I’m planning on using this one for the bridal shower too—just have to figure out where I’m going to put it!
Fun Food and Drink
I set some fun tropical things out on our kitchen countertops in our hotel room suites, including gold palm leaves, tropical plates, cups, and napkins that I got on Amazon.
The paper straws with palm leaves are from this Etsy shop. They were super easy to assemble and you just stick the leaves right onto the straw. I think they add such a fun touch!
I love these custom champagne bottle labels! I got them from this Etsy shop and did a mix of large ones for full-size champagne bottles, as well as small ones for mini champagne bottles.
I actually picked up the mini champagne bottles from Target and put them in my suitcase (wrapped in bubble wrap) and included them in everyone’s gift bags. Cute, right??
The cute gold palm tree bottle opener were such a fun touch, and I also included one in everyone’s goody bag. Practical for a party, and cute!
The bride specifically requested that we make jello shots, and I found these “Cheers B!tches!” cups on Amazon—perfect! I also go this pack of Starbust flavored jello and as you can imagine, the pink one was the best.
How adorable are these custom cookies? Not only are they so cute, but they were also yummy too. I found this cookie shop on, you guessed it, Etsy. She had me pick out the four designs and colors based on what she had on her Instagram account and I love how they turned out!
The ring and peni$ confetti was from this Etsy shop and I had so much fun sprinkling it around our hotel rooms. You’ll see it make an appearance several times in these photos!
Also decorated the bride’s bed all cute with a Bachelorette banner and tiara on top of her pile of pillows.
Tropical Bachelorette Party Goody Bags
Ok, let’s get into all the fun stuff that was in the goody bags! First of all, the actual bags themselves were from this Etsy shop ilulily that is going to be your new best friend when looking for fun, custom Bachelorette party things.
The design was obviously perfect for a tropical bachelorette party and I loved that you can customize them with an initial. These came in super handy as our beach bags during the trip as well!
I attached these cute luggage tags to each of the goody bags as well. You can customize the colors, destination, and symbol and I thought these were a fun touch that would also be useful after the trip.
These sun hats were so fun and I loved that you could customize whatever you wanted on them! I picked a bunch of fun phrases and did different ones for each guest in a light tan color hat, plus a white one that said, “Vitamin Sea” for the bride.
Shop the goody bags below:
Here’s a list of all the phrases I used in case you want to steal them!
Beach, please
Out of office
Do not disturb
Aloha beaches
Seas the day
Ship happens
Vitamin sea
Bon voyage
Ilulily also sent these adorable trucker hats for the goody bags! They have a ton of different colors to choose from.
They also put together the Oh Sh!t Kits! They do custom printing on the bags for a special touch. And you can also have them pre-stuff the bags with all the essentials. They put such great things in our kits and everything was in adorable little mini packs/sizes.
Trust me, the hangover stuff is going to come in very handy!
Here are some ideas of what to put in your Oh Sh!t Kit:
- Advil
- Hair ties
- Deodorant wipes
- Dude wipes
- Alka Seltzer
- Tums
- Bandaids
- Gum or mints

We also did custom sleep masks from this Etsy shop and these fun heart-shaped sunglasses. I did pink Babe sunglasses for all the guests and white Bride sunnies for the bride-to-be.

Everyone also received one of these pretty gold palm tree bottle openers. I loved the shape of them—so unique and fun!

I also designed an itinerary for the trip in Canva and put printouts in all the bags. You can easily make a QR code through bitly so people can easily access it on their phones!
Bachelorette Party Games
I thought I’d share some of the bachelorette party games that we did too! These aren’t specific to a tropical-themed bachelorette but they were really fun.
First up, we played Prosecco Pong! I found this game kit on Amazon and it was perfect for a classier version of beer pong.
Note how fun the peni$ and ring confetti is here lol.
We also played “Panty Party,” which is my fav bachelorette game lol. Everyone picks out some kind of underwear or lingerie for the bride-to-be. It can be funny, pertaining to an inside joke, or just straight. up ridiculous. Then, the bride tries to guess who gifted her which item. It’s pretty entertaining. 😉
This game “Put a ring on it” was a fun one too. I bought these plastic rings on Amazon for it and hid them throughout our rooms before everyone arrived.
After the bach party, I collected most of the rings and we’re going to play a similar game at the bridal shower.
Those are all the deets on my sister’s tropical bachelorette party! We had so many fun details, decor, and gifts and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how her Beachlorette turned out.
As far as bach party themes go, tropical is such a fun one! You can find more bachelorette inspo here.
