Now that we’re about to head into October, I’m finally feeling ready and excited for fall!
One of the many things I’ve loved about moving from SF to Napa is experiencing actual seasons again—rather than moderate temps all the time with a dash of fog and occasionally some really random, hot days in the middle of October (an SF specialty).
It’s still warm in California, but lately, we’ve been teased with a couple of lovely, crisp days that have whispers of fall to them.
One of my favorite ways to transition fashion from summer to fall is by wearing dresses with boots. It’s the perfect combo for a fall look when it’s not cool enough yet to bundle up in sweaters.
I put together this outfit with this adorable dress from Free Assembly as the centerpiece. I love the midi length and the puff sleeves, and the darker colors are perfect for fall. It’s so comfortable and cute, and at $36 it’s a total steal.
To make the look feel even more fall-appropriate, I added this suede fedora hat from Walmart (you guys will not believe the price point on this one—$15!) and these black pointed toe booties.
I’ve also been loving quilted bags for fall and Walmart has some cute ones like this one. Linking a few options below!
If you’re looking to add some fall pieces to your wardrobe as we head into this new season, Free Assembly has great options at super affordable prices.
Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post!
