Hi lovely readers! Today I’m excited to kick off a fun partnership with mywedding.com that I hinted at on Instagrama couple weeks ago. I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be mywedding’s new bride-to-be blogger contributor! Over the next year of wedding planning I’ll be sharing bits and pieces of the planning process, and tips and tricks that I learn along the way. You can read more about this collaboration in my intro post over on mywedding’s blog.

mywedding is an amazing resource for bride-to-be’s and covers pretty much everything you need to think about for your big day. There are so many moving pieces that make up a wedding, and I love that mywedding makes it easy to have everything in one place—your checklist, budget calculator, guest tracker, vendor info, registry, honeymoon, save the dates and matching wedding site…even changing your name!
You can also find great wedding inspo on mywedding. Their beautifully curated ideas sectionhas me scrolling for dayyysss, and mywedding The Magazine is not to be missed. These online publications have pages upon pages of inspiration from real (gorgeous) weddings, beautiful and heart-felt pieces of advice from brides, and shoppable links to fancy finds for your bridesmaid gifts. I also loved their Real Summer Engagements section, especially since I’m trying to figure out what kind of style we want for our engagement shoot. Their magazine also has helpful tidbits like their guide to purchasing alcohol for your wedding. Brilliant. And so helpful, since I’ve been totally confused on how to approach this (How do you account for people like my mom who will have one glass of champagne at most, and then people like my cousin who will for sure be gettin her drank on?).
I’m so excited to be planning our wedding! We’ve set our date for September 12, 2015 (We booked our venue, yay! More on that later.), so we’ve got plenty of time. And yet I still feel like I’m behind on some things (“You haven’t found your dress yet?? You should probably get on that…”). Even though there will inevitably be some stress, I plan to enjoy every moment of being a bride-to-be. And I’m so happy to have mywedding as a resource!
P.S. Let me know what parts of the wedding planning you want to hear about! Drop me a line at [email protected]or leave a comment below.
