I shared a sneak peek of TOMS’ Together Sweater on Instagram (the gingerbread version of the sweater, that is), and I couldn’t wait to get my family in this four person sweater. Every year my parents make my sister and I take a nice photo that they can include in our family Christmas card, and we usually try to insist that our parents get in the photo too. We don’t always succeed, but this year we did, because how could we let this sweater go to waste? My dad took a little more convincing, but he was a good sport about it. 🙂
You may have seen the Together Sweater on the Ellen Degeneres show, or on Instagram. Omied and I are planning on wearing the Together Sweater to an ugly sweater party this December, and people have been asking me where they can get one. Unfortunately the sweaters (that range from two head holes to eight) aren’t for sale. TOMS and Target created them as a fun, yet meaningful way to symbolize the spirit of the holidays and the idea that you can do more good when you come together to help those in need. A couple weeks ago TOMS and Target launched their One For One, For All gift collection. In today’s outfit I included the collection’s Build Your Tomorrow clutch, and it’s pretty cool to know that with the purchase of this clutch, someone else in need received a gift.
I have a lot to be thankful for this year, and I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their loved ones too! We shot this outfit in between bouts of drizzling rain while we were at my parents house during the Thanksgiving weekend. There’s something about this sweater that felt so perfect for being home for the holidays and cozying up by the fire. Speaking of perfect sweaters…
