Happy Wednesday! I’m so excited that I’ve finally found all of my accessories for the big day. It was a long process, full of purchases and returns, but it was worth all the effort because I love the complete look. After I had my final fitting for my dress, I brought it home to my parents house and tried it on with all of my bridal accessories. I showed my parents so they could see the whole outfit, and promptly proceeded to bawl my eyes out. Here’s a look at the little details and the “something old, something new” I’ll be wearing on our wedding day!
Something old: My grandmother’s vintage silver clutch. (I didn’t have it with me to include in this shoot, but I’ve it’s appeared on the blog before in this outfit post).
Something new: A lot of these accessories are “new” (that’s probably the easiest thing to find to fit this adage), but in particular the earrings, necklace, bracelet, sash, and hair piece are all new pieces that I’ll wear on my wedding day.

[above] I was so excited when I found this sash on etsy. I had tried on a sash that was almost identical to this one at the bridal boutique where I found my dress, but that one was five times the price! [below] This dainty little bracelet will be a keepsake that I’ll wear well beyond our wedding day. I love the little A and our engraved wedding date.
Something borrowed: I’ll be pinning this pretty brooch to my bouquet. It belonged to my grandmother on my mom’s side, and I love that I have pieces from both of my grandmothers in my wedding day accessories.
Something blue: These little shoe stickers on the back of my silver wedges are so fun! And when I’m ready to kick my heels off and change into flats, I’ll still have my something blue on, thanks to Tieks’ signature blue sole.

Tieks in Silver Screen |
I’ve thought for years that wearing Tieks on your wedding day is a fabulous idea. These flats are so comfy, and it’d be silly to think I can make it in heels (even if they’re small heels!) all day/night. When I started looking for silver accessories, I knew that a pair of silver Tieks would be perfect to fold up and bring with me to the wedding.
So excited to wear all of these pretty things on our wedding day!
