And so the wedding photos saga continues! (In case you missed them, you can find Part 1 here and Part 2 here.) Today I’m sharing photos from our wedding ceremony—one of my favorite parts of the day. We opted for a combination of a traditional American and Persian wedding ceremony. Our officiant Cindie (whom I also blogged about here), helped us bring our vision to life, and the ceremony felt so “us.”
Our sofreh turned out so beautiful!! We got the handmade kaleh ghands from a sofreh shop on etsy run by a wonderful woman named Pari (whose daughter it turns out also worked at Google…on the same floor as me! Such a small world).
Pari also created this adorable flower bread for our sofreh. She also made the flower esfand. Her pieces were some of my favorite touches on our sofreh! That and the ayne va shamdan (mirror and candles) that were the same ones used on Omied’s parents’ sofreh when they got married. 🙂
Omied designed our adorable wedding programs! He is the most ridiculously talented guy ever.

The beauty about this place is that they give you a somewhat blank canvas where you can create the wedding you envisioned, etc., which will be different from others. The staff at wedding venues NYC is incredible and professional.
