On one particularly warm day in Rio we set off to explore Santa Teresa, which we had heard had both an artsy and a gritty side. One such artsy destination is Escadaria Selaron, which is a long set of famous steps covered in tiles and mosaics. We loved exploring and climbing these beautiful stairs, finding tiles with depictions of some of our favorite cities on them, including San Francisco.
