Happy 2013! Crazy, am I right? 2012 was an amazing year. Last year, I had several resolutions. The first was to start working out in the mornings. Since I’m not a morning person at all, it was a big deal that I actually accomplished this. The second, to read more for pleasure. Third, learn Farsi (my boyfriend and his fam are Persian). Fourth, be more patient. This year, I’m narrowing it down to these three:
1. Learn Farsi. This was the one resolution I failed to keep last year. But between work and the blog, learning a new language sort of fell to the wayside. This year I’m determined to at get least conversational. Kheli khoob.
2. Take care of my body. Again, it’s a miracle that I’m working out in the mornings at all. But I definitely swing wide, bouncing from a good week where I work out five times, to a not so good week where I maybe eek out one or two morning workouts. This year, my goal is to take even better care of my body, by maintaining consistency with my workouts and hitting 4-5 days every week, and also eating more fruits and veggies (another thing I sort of fail at). I’ll be using Cassey Ho’s pilates workouts to keep me motivated! Sign up for her email newsletter and get her workout calendars. P.S. Yes, I realize the irony in #2 and the fact that I chose a cupcake photo. It was just too cute to pass up.
3. Kick WTFab up a notch. WTFab was born in mid-June last year, so it’s only 6.5 months old. A baby, really. Since then, I’ve had so many people tell me how much WTFab has grown, evolved and improved. And I’ve had some fabulous opportunities to work with some awesome brands already! It’s been a blast, and this year I’m looking to continue growing and developing my blog to reach new heights!
So there you have it! Wish me luck! What are your new year’s resolutions?
