Sulwhasoo is a Korean beauty brand founded in 1932 that was the first to incorporate ginseng into skincare products.
Sulwhasoo products are inspired by centuries of Korean herbal medicine and pay homage to traditional health and skincare practices while constantly innovating to stay at the forefront of the beauty industry.
I love the fact that Sulwhasoo skincare is gentle enough for all skin types and that they have a special emphasis on targeting signs of aging.

Sulwhasoo Review: 7 Best Products
First up is the Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream, an iconic product that’s one of the brand’s top best-sellers.
This anti-aging cream helps make your skin look fuller and brighter while evening texture.
It’s also totally weightless and absorbs really well, hydrating your skin and giving it a slightly lifted look.
I’m obsessed with this Renewing Cream’s rich, buttery texture that feels smooth and luxurious af on my skin.
This cream uses ginseng peptides to protect your skin from environmental stressors while still leaving it refreshed.
I use the Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream both morning and night and have noticed a huge improvement in my skin texture!
Another classic I had to feature in this Sulwhasoo review is the First Care Activating Serum.
With a special blend of herbs and natural ingredients, this serum targets six skin concerns (hydration, visible wrinkles, brightness, radiance, translucency, and moisture barrier) to leave your skin feeling youthful and hydrated!
It’s made from their patented JUAM Activator, a gentle and nourishing blend of Solomon’s seal, peony, white lily, Rehmannia, and sacred lotus.
I find that a lot of serums tend to dry out very quickly, but I didn’t have that issue at all with the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum.
After a few uses, my skin felt so smooth, and I noticed my fine lines fading!

Sulwhasoo’s Gentle Cleansing Foam is a gel cleanser that scrubs dirt, makeup, and grime from your pores while also softening your skin.
I’m a huge fan of foam cleansers because of how gentle they are, and this Cleansing Foam literally feels like a cloud on your face!
The foam contains a combination of floral ingredients such as citrus peel and chestnut shell extract that work to brighten skin.
This product is best for normal, combination, and oily skin types, so if you fall into any of these categories, I recommend trying the Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Foam.
The Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask has been a serious lifesaver whenever I’m going through a skincare crisis because it makes such a huge difference in just one night of use.
Formulated with jujube and pomegranate extracts, this overnight mask uses its creamy texture to revitalize your skin’s moisture barrier by creating a non-sticky layer over your skin that reduces moisture loss and locks in nutrients.
This Vitalizing Mask is super gentle, so even if you have sensitive skin, I’d recommend giving it a try.
This overnight mask is perfect for an at-home spa day—just slice some cucumbers, and you’re set for a luxurious night in! 🤩
The next product I’m featuring in this Sulwhasoo review is the Timetreasure Invigorating Eye Cream.
Not only does this product help lighten dark circles, but it also reduces swelling and smooths out fine lines and wrinkles—win-win!
This cream uses a creamy formula rich in antioxidants to reduce dark under-eyes and puffiness.
The Timetreasure Invigorating Eye Cream is also super lightweight, which makes it perfect to wear on its own or under makeup, and contains a blend of Korean red ginseng and red pine.

My next product pick is the Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion, a lightweight cushion foundation with SPF 50+.
I love the portability of this cushion foundation since the product is kept in a sponge that you gently pat into your face for flawless skin.
This foundation isn’t heavy at all on the skin, but it does an amazing job at evening skin complexion and blurring blemishes.
The best part is the Perfecting Cushion is long-lasting, so you can apply it once and wear it all day without worrying about patchiness!
Last but certainly not least is the Sulwhasoo Essential Comfort Firming Cream.
This product improves your skin’s elasticity, giving you a bouncy, youthful complexion.
The Firming Cream uses a complex blend of goji berries, arrowroot, Rehmannia Glutinosa root extract, Lilium candidum bulb extract, licorice root extract, and Paeonia Albiflora root extract—all of which target elasticity and keep your skin moisturized.
This Comfort Firming Cream is gentle on all skin types and helps firm skin while also keeping it super hydrated.
It was so hard picking only seven products to cover in this Sulwhasoo review, so make sure to scroll through the Sulwhasoo site and see what else catches your eye!
