1. Omni Montelucia

Sharing some photos and experiences from one of our lovely stays at the gorgeous Omni Montelucia in Scottsdale!

And while you’re thinking about which of the gorgeous Scottsdale hotels to stay at, let me tell you more about our stay at the Omni Scottsdale Resort.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and has beautiful Mediterranean vibes. We felt like we were staying in a Spanish villa!

The grounds are beautiful and there are two separate pools—one that is kid/famil-friendly, and one adults-only pool.

Actually, I lied, there is a third pool that is only available to guests who have booked a spa treatment, and Omied and I spent an afternoon there in total bliss, soaking up some gorgeous mountain views.

Omni Montelucia’s spa is one of the most beautiful spas I’ve ever been to, and I had such a relaxing experience there.

Between the plunge pool, sauna, relaxation room complete with inviting beds draped in curtains, and the wonderful massage I had, I was in heaven.

We also had dinner at the Omni’s restaurant Prado, and no surprise here but it was delicious. I had the seafood pasta and absolutely loved it.

After dinner, Omied and I grabbed drinks and sat outside by one of the fire pits. Omied also stopped by Omni’s cigar bar and picked up a stogie that he was really excited to enjoy by the fire.

We had such a relaxing weekend here and loved our stay at Omni Montelucia!

2. Andaz Scottsdale Resort

I recently stayed here with my sister, and we absolutely loved it! I couldn’t get over the bungalow-style rooms—felt like I was in the Bahamas or something.

The resort is located right in downtown Scottsdale, and everything is designed with a century modern touch.

The whole resort is hidden away on 23 acres of desert gardens and shaded groves making it feel like you’re on a sweet escape to paradise.

Stay here really felt like a tropical vacay with the outdoor showers, and super modern designer furniture.

I loved trying out the three pools and the best part was booking a visit to the Palo Verde Spa & Apothecary.

Definitely take advantage of the glass-box exposition kitchen at Weft + Warp for an amazingly delicious dinner.

3. Hyatt Regency Scottsdale

The Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort located at Gainey Ranch is a Scottsdale favorite. Enjoy the pools, championship golf courses, world-class tennis, spas, and amazing restaurants.

As soon as you check in you’re greeting by the open-air lobby and bar. You can also enjoy a live band on the weekends.

There are three restaurants and one sushi bar. Everything is super clean here and the staff are super friendly and accommodating.

If you’re traveling with kids this is a good spot with loads of family activities, free bikes, and pools.

4. Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale

The Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North is another favorite when it comes to places to stay in Scottsdale.
This resort is definitely on the pricier side of places to stay, but it’s sooo worth it for the boho-chic style.

Everything is so well decorated, and the rooms are stunning—I honestly wouldn’t want to leave the room they’re so nice.

Relax by their gorgeous pool and even try night swimming with their light changing pools.

Definitely take advantage of the hiking trails nearby and unwind after by the spa and pool area reading a good book.

5. Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale

Stay at the Mountain Shadows Resort for desert luxury vibes located in Paradise Valley. Everything here was designed with modern aesthetics in mind and I’m so here for it.

I stayed here a little while back and absolutely loved staying here.

The restaurants here are seriously divine. The food is delicious—you’ll find American-style food.

The bartenders are awesome and make killer cocktails. Enjoy sipping on something while you’re relaxing by the pool.

I love love that there’s a juice bar and organic drinks near the gym. It seriously feels like a home away from home.

The gym offers fitness classes so feel free to bring your workout clothes to take a quick pilates class.

The golf course is perfect with 18 holes of par-3 golf—you don’t even need to be experienced.

6. Scottsdale Plaza Resort

You’ll have such a special stay here at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort! With views of the Camelback Mountain, you’ll get a very western desert feel while staying here.

They offer so many different style rooms here from suites to lodges to presidential suites to family rooms—they can accommodate any group.

Definitely take advantage of the spa and pool—you can never go wrong with treating yourself to some pampering.

When you’re ready to go on an adventure you can take the resort’s free shuttle that takes you into Old Town Scottsdale so you can explore everything the city has to offer.

If you like gambling the Talking Stick Casino is nearby only about 3 miles away.

7. Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is a stunning Spanish-style luxury hotel. You’ll find fountains, pools, fire pits, lagoons, desert plants, anything you name it.

If you love spas as much as I do then you have to get a treatment done at the Well & Being Spa at the resort.

There are six heated pools—some with waterslides—and cabanas with amazing poolside service.

This is the perfect resort if you’re traveling with a large group or family. There’s really something for everyone here.

If you’re a big golfer, you’ll be happy to know the resort is home to the annual PGA tour waste management Phoenix Open. So, plan your trip accordingly.

The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa is a beautiful and relaxing place to spend your next family vacation.

Located in the gorgeous Sonoran Desert, you’ll get the ultimate boho western feels.

Everyone here is super friendly, which always makes staying somewhere that much more worth it.

With all the waterslides, this resort makes a really good spot for families with kids.

9. The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort, Scottsdale

Nothing is more Scottsdale than staying at a luxury hotel. The Phoenician is seriously stunning with a three-level pool complex, you can enjoy soaking and tanning all day long.

Book yourself a massage at the enriching spa and take in the Sonora views.

Everything at this resort was designed and decorated with luxury definitely in mind. From the elegant furniture to the casitas, you’ll get to stay in.

Enjoy an incredible meal at J&G Steakhouse and Mowry & Cotton. Mowry & Cotton has amazing vegan and vegetarian options.

You’re also conveniently located close to Old Town Scottsdale where you can enjoy the arts, shopping, and entertainment.

10. Royal Palms Resort and Spa

Located in Phoenix, the Royal Palms Resort is another great place to stay just in case you don’t get to stay in Scottsdale—it’s still close enough.

Designed with Spanish Mediterranean details, you’ll get to stay in the many casitas, estate rooms, and villas.

Take a stroll through the beautiful resort along the many pathways. The restaurants and bar are amazing—you won’t need to leave to get food because it’s so good here.

The pool is huge, so you won’t have to worry about not getting a spot.

Everywhere is so aesthetically pleasing you can take some really cute insta pics here.

11. Hotel Valley Ho

You can get anymore Scottsdale than staying at Hotel Valley Ho.

Located right in downtown Scottsdale, you can stay at this super cute urban hotel with a mix of mid-century modern aesthetics.

Every room here has a private patio or balcony with floor-to-ceiling glass.

So, definitely get up early to watch the sunrise or spend the evenings watching the sunset from the comfort of your own room.

Dine in at ZuZu, the ultimate foodie restaurant that serves American-style food with vegetarian options.

Finally, unwind at VH Spa for ultimate relaxation during your trip.

12. Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort

Located in Paradise Valley, the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort really feels like desert oasis.

This luxury boutique is a little hideaway on Camelback Mountain with stunning views from every corner.

Make a reservation at Sanctuary Spa for an Asian-inspired treatment.

Eat at Food Network star Chef Beau MacMillan’s restaurant Elements. Go on a hike nearby and take a dip in the infinity-edge pool.

My favorite 4th of July was one we spent at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain! Rates were cheap, the resort was incredible and the weather was perfect for desert fun!! (Hiking in the morning, swimming in the afternoon and star gazing at night!) Iโ€™ve been dying to check out other resorts, so Iโ€™ll add this one to my list!
