The Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park is such a gorgeous and tranquil place to relax (despite the throngs of tourists on weekends). I can almost always find a quiet bench to sit and read. My boyfriend likes to park his behind next to me and sketch. If you go M, W, F before 10am it’s free. But I’ve never made it during that time because I have this thing called a job.
