April, Instagrammed

Share this post or pin it for later!

I spent almost all of April abroad, so it’s a pretty crazy/beautiful month to look back on. I was in Tokyo, Sydney, Cairns, Melbourne, and Fiji, and you know I’ll be writing up detailed travel guides for all of them! Until then, here are some highlights from Instagram. Captions read left to right. Find me on Insta, @wtfab.

Sunset views and rosé in Tokyo.

Loved the gorgeous pool at the Park Hyatt Tokyo. Do you recognize it from the movie Lost in Translation?

Gotta get the massive rainbow cotton candy shot when in Harajuku!

Takeshita street in Harajuku is super popular and was insanely packed.

Exploring the Meiji shrine and twinning in Tieks with my sister.

We decided to go to an owl cafe in Tokyo! Such a fun experience to get up close and personal with these beauties!

My owl’s name was Kubi and she was adorable. Look at those eyes!

Caught my sister and her owl twinning.

Relaxing in the gorgeous onsen at the Park Hyatt Tokyo. Did the cold plunge for the ‘gram, but it wasn’t the most pleasant experience. ?

Sydney’s coastline and water are stunning! We fell in love.

I mean look at that turquoise behind me! Doing the walk from Coogee to Bondi Beach.

First time playing with our drone and did a little “Where’s What The Fab” edition. Can you spot me?

Taking selfies with the emus at the Taronga Zoo.

Look at this brown-eyed beauty! You can get up close with the giraffes and even feed them at the Taronga Zoo.

Loved the walk-about where you can sit next to wallabies and kangaroos. They’re the cutest!

Loving all of the man-made pools at the beaches in Sydney.

Went out on the Great Barrier Reef and it was incredible!

Saw so many amazing thinks when we were snorkeling, including giant clams! I just can’t get over their colors. So crazy.

The boat that we stayed on for a couple days. Such a cool experience!

Made our way over to Melbourne and was excited to see Yayoi Kusama at their National Victoria Gallery.

Melbourne is known for their foodie scene. Had an amazing meal at Ides, starting with these delicious oysters.

Exploring all of Melbourne’s back alleyways and street art. It definitely reminded us of San Francisco!

Visited Brighton Beach and the Brighton Bathing Boxes from the early 1900’s! There are over 80 adorably painted bathing boxes lined up here.

Fiji was the last leg of our trip and we were ready for some serious R&R by the time we got there.

The clear blue water was just heavenly.

Our room had its own plunge pool!

Decided I was just going to move in and live here.

My favorite colors ever. ?

Exploring the island where the movie Cast Away was filmed!

Loving this high-cut swimsuit from Summersalt!

Could have spent all day at this pretty turquoise lagoon.

Sippin’ on all the fresh coconut in our cabana, wearing another Summersalt swimsuit.
